From
Abu Hurairah ra said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah
be upon him) said: "Allah Tabaraka wa Taala has angels who are tasked with
seeking the Dhikr, as soon as they find the Dhikr, then they will sit with
those who are reciting and calling the other angels They will come huddled
around those who are reciting with their wings to fill the space between them with
the skies of the world.
When the
remembrance ends, the angels will rise again to the sky. Then Allah SWT asked
them: "O my angels, where are you from?" Said the Angels: "Our
Lord, we have just returned from examining Your servants on earth, they exalt, takbir,
talil and tahmid and beg for You." Actually Allah SWT knows best about
their actions and all creatures. After Allah SWT heard the words of His angels,
then Allah SWT also said: "O my angels, what do they ask Me?" The
angels say: "Your servants are praying for you from heaven." Allah
SWT again asked: "How do they see that paradise?" The angels said
again: "They never saw that paradise."
Believe in
Allah SWT: "My servants ask for heaven when they do not see it and
especially if they see that paradise." The angels say: "They also beg
for freedom." Allah SWT asks: "Please be free from what?" Said
the angels: "Thy servant begged thee that they should be delivered from
hell." Allah SWT asked the angels again: "Have My servants seen My
hell?" The angels say: "No yes God." Allah SWT says: "My
servants never saw hell, but they begged to be released from him, especially if
they saw it."
Then the
angels said again: "O Allah, Thy servant ask for your forgiveness,"
Allah SWT says: "Listen, O my angels, I forgive them and I will give what
they ask and deliver them from the Fire they fear. " Again the angel said:
"O Allah, among them there is a sinful servant, he goes through the
council and sits with those who are reciting." Allah SWT said: "The
person I will forgive, as well as everyone who is involved in the zikir, there
is no harm."
