WHAT ARE RECOMMENDED OUT WHEN OUR CHILD IS BORN

The things that are recommended and sunnah By the Prophet Relating to the Child that Born of them is to Rejoice With Children Born, Both In the Form of Male or Female. Among the recommended and disunnahkan by Prophet Muhammad SAW to feel happy with the child who was awarded to him by Allah SWT as his deposit. Both children are boys or girls. Whether the child is as expected by his parents or not as he expected. Sometimes, however, when a child is born as a girl, she is unhappy and unhappy with the birth. And this is one of the customs of jahiliyyah which is hated by Allah and His Prophet. As mentioned in the Qur'an:

وإذا بشر أحدهم بما ضرب للرحمن مثلا ظل وجهه مسودا وهو كظيم

Whereas when one of them is given the good news of what (the birth of a daughter) is made as an example to Allah Most Gracious; His face was a very dark black while he was holding back sadly

So it is not fitting for a husband and wife when he gets the gift of a daughter he is not happy with his presence, or in his heart he says, "If the child is a man, then it will be better." Because Allah SWT does not specify something for We except the best. Whether in the form of goodness in the eyes of our eyes or in the form of evil, then in essence behind it all is a goodness. Because goodness here is not only the goodness that is felt pleasure, happiness in the world only. But continue later in the hereafter. Therefore in the Shari'a distinguished between ni'mat (نعمة) the same na'mat (نعمة). If ni'mat, then a pleasure that is continued with the next enjoyment in the afterlife. The na'mat is a pleasure that is limited only to feel in the world alone. Therefore, both parents should feel confident with the grace of Allah Ta'ala in the form of the best son for him, both male and female.

Even in the chapter of Al-Kahf it is mentioned that the child who was killed by Nabiyullah Khidhir AS will later make both his parents kafir because of it, it is a boy. Then Allah promises to both parents instead of the murdered child with a better child. It turns out the child promised by God is a girl. And finally Allah SWT removes from the womb of the woman 70 Prophets from among the Children of Isra'il. So here we can understand that to girls also turns out there is kindness. Or unexpected kindness from a boy or a girl. Therefore Allah SWT says in the Qur'an as follows:

فإن كرهتموهن فعسى أن تكرهوا شيئا ويجعل الله فيه خيرا كثيرا )19

Then if you do not like them, (so be patient) because maybe you do not like something, but God makes him a lot of good.

And Al-Imam Al-Ghozali said that: It could be the parents who feel unhappy when they get a daughter, later when the child is old and big, he will be grateful. And it could be that when both parents feel proud and happy when being born as a boy, it turns out after the child is adult and large, he will regret it. Therefore, leave it to Allah SWT and must be believed that what He gave is the best for us. And it is quite a bad thing for a servant if he feels unhappy with the grace God has given him.

And said Ya'qub bin Bukhtan that he had seven children all women. Every time he gets a daughter Then he came to Imam Ahmad bin Hambal to tell him and asked him for a name. So Imam Ahmad bin Hambal congratulated him and said, "O Abu Yusuf ... Indeed the Prophets are the father of the daughters." So that his words took away my troubles and saddened me for always getting girls. Because it is mentioned by historians that most of the Prophets gave birth to daughters.

Even inside we get grace in the form of girls, there is a promise of Allah SWT in the form of many rewards and entitled us to get heaven. Provided that we really educate them so that they all grow up. As mentioned by the Prophet in the following hadiths:

عن عائشة رضي الله عنها, قالت: جاءت امرأة ومعها ابنتان لها فلم تجد عندي شيئا غير تمرة واحدة, فأعطيتها إياها فأخذتها فشقتها بين ابنتيها, ثم قامت فخرجت هي وابنتاها, فدخل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم على تفئة ذلك فحدثته حديثها, فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من ابتلي من هذه البنات بشيء فأحسن إليهن, كن له سترا من النار

From Sayyidah Aishah RA he said: "Once upon a time came a woman with her two daughters to ask me. I did not get anything for me to give him but a date. So I gave the dates. Then by the woman, the dates were split in two and given to her two daughters. After that they moved from my house. Then the Prophet came after they left. So I told her about the situation of the woman with her two daughters. So Prophet SAW said: Whoever is given the test by having a daughter then he do good to them, then they will be the cause for his parents to not be put into hell.

عن أبي سعيد الخدري رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا يكون لأحد ثلاث بنات, أو ثلاث أخوات, أو بنتان, أو أختان فيتقى الله فيهن و يحسن اليهن الى دخل الجنة

No one has three daughters or three sisters or two daughters or two sisters, then he is devoted to God in caring for his children or his siblings and doing good to them unless it will put him into heaven.

عن ابن منكدر أن النبي قال: من كان له ثلاث بنات أو أخوات فكفاهن وزوجهن دخل الجنة

Whoever has three daughters or three sisters, then he guards them and gives a place to them and then marries them all unless he will be put into heaven because of it. So they say, "What if the two daughters are the Prophet?" So the Prophet replied, "Even though two daughters." We even think if they say, "What if it is like a girl, yes Rosulallah?" Then surely the Prophet would say, Although one is a girl. "

In conclusion, that child is a grace of Allah Ta'ala regardless of its form, both boys and girls. And certainly, the grace of Allah Ta'ala is the best for us. It's just that if the girls we get, then we are ordered to feel happy as we pleased when getting a son. And is recommended based on the above mentioned hadiths, for parents who get girls to be more careful and better maintain and educate them. Because the girl is a slander for her parents, or her husband someday, as well as for her children later.
