A. Wearing Nail Paint

Nail polish and girlfriend (nail dye) are part of the ladies' jewelry. With these ladies decorate and hope to be more beautiful and attractive. The desire to look beautiful and attractive is a fitrah for women. Because Allah SWT has indeed made them like to beauty and beauty.

However .... How is the law according to Islamic Shari'a?

Well, it does not escape the rules of shari'ah, which if a woman beautifies herself, such as coloring her nails, in accordance with the permissible ordinances in religion and with good intentions, she may do so, even she can get reward in that regard . Conversely, if not in accordance with the Shari'ah, he should not do it.

Mentioned in the book Busyral Karim syarah Muqaddimah Hadhramiyyah by Al-Imam Al-Faqih Sa'id bin Muhammad Ba'isyan:

 و يستحب أن تخضب المزوجة يديها و رجليها بالحناء إن كانت حليلها يحبه و أن تبدأ فى كل ذلك باليمنى, أما غيرها فلا يسن لها ذالك, بل يحرم عليها الخضب بسواد و تطريف الأصابع و تحمير الوجنة و النقش إن كانت غيرمفترشة أو لم يأذن لها حليلها

 "Its sunnah for a married woman to color her hands and feet with a boyfriend if the husband likes it, and sunnah start from the right. As for the other (unmarried woman), it is not for her, even forbidden for her coloring her hair with black, as well as dripping her fingers and toes, and drawing her hands and feet with her boyfriend, and redden her cheeks if she is not a husband Or for a wife without her husband's permission. "

 Thus, the legal conclusion is as follows:

The married woman, her sunnah coloring her hands and feet with her husband's favored, fingernails and toes, and forbidden her without her permission.

The unmarried woman, makrooh for her coloring her hands and feet with her boyfriend, can even be haram if she does it with the intention of inviting the lust of the men who see it, as well as decorate his hands and feet with a boyfriend or using Nail Paint.

For women who are running iddah because of the death of her husband, all things are forbidden on it, because it includes decorate themselves.

All these details apply when outside the prayer, whether in a state of haidh or not.

As for the prayer, if he uses Nail Cat or girlfriend that still leaves his girlfriend (not stay the color), the prayer is not valid. Because, when he performs ablution or bathing must after the haidh, the water does not reach the skin or fingernails, because it is blocked by the Cat Nails and boyfriend of the like.

The law is as follows:

Polish gray hair with black polish, the law according to a strong opinion is haram, but according to Imam Ramli the law is allowed, if by permission of the husband. And polish gray hair with color polish other than black, the law of sunnah when its intention to follow sunnah, as saying Prophet Muhammad SAW:

 غيرو ا هذا بشيء و اجتنبوا السواد

While polish hair that is black or not gray with the use of color polish other than black, the law may as long as its intention is not to resemble the disbelievers (tasyabbuh) and other intentions that are prohibited by shari'ah.
