We know together that the Messenger of Allah
is the most glorious man before God. He has a very good morality and courteous
to anyone. In him we find good role models for our lives.
The Messenger of Allah often marks the
children, rubs their heads and calls them with affection and tenderness. The
Prophet gave the first gift to the youngest child, sometimes some of the
children climbed the Messenger of Allah.
Below are two examples of Rasulullah's jokes
to Hasan and Husain.
From Abu Hurairah, he said,
"That the Messenger of Allah stuck his
tongue to Hasan b. Ali, until the boy saw his tongue red and laughed because of
it." (Hadith narrated by Abu Shaikh in Akhlaq an-Nabi wa Adabuhu, lhat
as-Silsilah ash-Shahih, N0. 70)
From Ya'la bin Murrah he said,
"We went out with the Prophet and we
were invited to eat. Suddenly Husain was playing in the street, then the
Messenger of Allah immediately (approaching him) in front of many people. He
stretched out his arms and the boy ran back and forth and the Prophet made him
laugh until he (holding) him and he put one of his hands under the child's chin
and the other in the middle of his head and then the Prophet kissed him.
"(Narrated by Bukhari )
Once a Jema'at prayer worshiper was shocked
by the actions of Prophet Muhammad SAW on the sidelines of his sermon.
Rasulullah suddenly descended from the pulpit because his two small
grandchildren, Hasan and Husain, cried.
The Prophet immediately approached Hasan and
Husain, who was then at the mosque and tried to calm the two. Through their
sign language and gentleness, their cries subsided, and he continues his sermon
until it is finished. The Prophet never read a sermon longer than his prayer.
Another incident about the
"behavior" of his two little grandchildren also occurred when the
Prophet was working on sunnah prayers two rak'ahs. When prostration lasted,
Hasan suddenly climbed the back of the Prophet. Little Hasan beat his
grandfather's body like a fast-paced horseback.
Actually, the Prophet had long enough to
stick his forehead on the floor. But Hasan's behavior makes this noble man
prolong his prostration for much longer. Hasan was content to play the
piggyback.
Hasan finally went down. The Prophet began to
intend to raise his body. Again his back was stuck. Husain suddenly jumped onto
his back and mimicked the action of his brother, Hasan. That is, the Prophet
must add more time to delay sitting tasyahud. Only when the two grandchildren
descended, the Prophet continued his praying movement.
See how a noble man is so beautiful to the
children. The Messenger of Allah taught us how we should love our children.
Highly recommended for us to joke and love the children. Be a good friend to
children as the Messenger of Allah.
Rasulullah exemplifies how affection for
family and child is the attitude that should take precedence. The Prophet's
attitude also reflects his sensitivity about appreciating one's limitations,
whether in terms of physical condition, capability, or level of knowledge. The
prophetic character of the Prophet emanated precisely when all of his decisions
became a priority, exceeding the religious ritual.
