ADZAN AND IQOMAT SPECIALTY

A. Understanding of adzan and iqomat

The meaning of the call to prayer is the sentence of certain dhikr (الله أكبر Until the end) which is disunnahkan for dikumandangkan before to pray five times. So it is not disunnahkan adzan and iqomat for sunnah prayer or corpse or obligatory prayer because nadzar. So the call to prayer is specially devoted to praying five times.

While the meaning of iqomat is a certain dhikr which is disunnahkan to raise the audience or told them to stand up to perform fardlu prayer.

And the law of echoing the call to prayer and iqomat is sunnah muakkadah in five-day prayers.

B. The virtue of echoing the Adhan

The virtue of a person who makes the call to prayer is great. Even one who always chants the call to prayer for seven consecutive years without pay and only because God he is doing is one of five people who will not destroy his body in the tomb but remain intact until the Day of Resurrection. And many hadith of Prophet SAW which explains about its virtue among others are hadith as follows.

قال رسول الله I "يغفر للمؤذن منتهى أذانه ويستغفر له كل رطب ويابس" (رواه أحمد)

The one who utters the call to prayer will be forgiven for his sins. Until the end of the call to prayer. And all the wet or dry objects ask forgiveness for her. (HR Ahmad)

المؤذنون أطول الناس أعناقا يوم القيامة "(رواه مسلم)

The muezzin on the Day of Resurrection is the longest person of his neck. (Muslim)

The point is that they are the ones with the greatest chance of winning God's grace and those who have the most right to give intercession to others.

قال رسول الله I "إن الله وملائكته يصلون على الصف المقدم والمؤذن يغفر له مدى صوته وصدقه من سمعه من رطب ويابس (رواه أحمد)

Allah blesses those who pray in the front shof. And one who utters the call to prayer will be forgiven of his sins as long as his voice is heard and will justify the saying of all who hear it as well as all the wet and dry objects. (HR Ahmad)

C. Wisdom from Adhan

All the Shari'ah of Allah must contain the wisdoms that will return to us the benefits of both the good of the world and the hereafter. And have a certain wisdom that is useful for all. Similarly, the call to prayer has certain wisdom, among others, as follows.

Inform the Muslims with the entry time of the five daily prayers.

Invite the Muslims to perform the prayers of jama'ah.

Show to the Muslims with the place to be prayed jama'ah.di the place.

Reveals the syiar-syiar islam so when the adzan sounded voiced somewhere, then it is a sign that the place there are the Muslims.
